We don't care about Gazdic at this point – what we do care about is the hypocrisy – in what world would the broadcaster/panel allow a person go against the leaf's and their FANS. In no world would Mr. Friedman be defending him in this case, he would not even have a job! it is the fact that it is brushed aside due to bias and downplay is the issue.

i'm a huge friedman fan, he's one of the best. but please don't comment on the over the top comments on luke gadzik when he posted one of the most toxic posts i've seen about any team never mind the canucks. he bought and paid for every slur that comes his way and it doesn't surprise me at all that a biased unprofessional organization like sportsnet would keep someone like that on their panel. i'll be glad when their deal with the nhl expires.

What prevents Friedman from being a legend is he's a company man. He's a fantastic journalist, but at the end of the day, his allegiance is to his employers. That will keep him from hitting that next level in the industry.
Gazdic deserves zero respect from any Canucks fans or media until he makes a wholehearted apology and takes back what he said. He recieved no visible punishment. There is absolutely nothing that supports Elliot's claim that this won't happen the very next chance that brain damaged joke of a human being gets to speak next on a podcast after the Canucks inevitably dust his dog shit team that only ever barely manages to be competitive when they've been gifted a generational talent. This self righteous line of "Defending his teammate" is absolutely pathetic as well. Unpopular opinion, but everyone still complaining about Gazdic is soft. Yea he threw a few insults at the Canucks and our fanbase on some no name podcast after the series loss but that was months ago, its time to move on. If you can't handle the fact that he gets 2 mins of screen time between periods then listen to the radio broadcast in the intermission instead.
