So wonderful to see Guy, the entire Gaudreau family, the Blue Jackets, and Sean Monahan all together in Calgary with the entire Flames organization. I hope everybody including the fans felt some closure from these last two days like I did. Thanks to the Calgary Flames for these video documents. I know I will revisit them over the years.
Let’s be honest here, the tribute fell flat. You invite the whole gaudreau family for this and you don’t Hang a Gaudreau banner in the rafters? You don’t retire his 13, and you don’t even have the decency to wear a jersey patch of Johnny like the Columbus team did on their jersey? Wow, epic fail
Honestly, nobody cared about him this much before tragedy. Not to brag, but i have a brother who survived his accident but woukd be better off if he didn't. So I'm not being insensitive. I know. My family would rsther sit and cry over this bum because he scored some goals on TV. Its partially Johnny, mostly family, but I'm no longer a fan of hockey.
Somethings should be more important than hockey. Like family.
That family has gotten enough media attention. Shut up already.
* as a former Avalanche fan I will always remember the dude as a playoff choker who honestly should have never left Calgary.

Guy is such a wonderful man. You can see how much he’s struggled the last few months – but he has all the support in the world. ❤
I’m not crying your crying 😢
The Calgary Flames and the National Hockey League have perfected the art of virtue signalling. Congratulations on your corporate propaganda.
Thank you Guy for being with us. Go Flames Go! :*
