I think Marty is exactly the coach this team needs. He's spent his entire playing career being small and scoring points, and his entire coaching career teaching people how to play hockey.
The idea that a different coach will somehow accelerate the rebuild isn't any different than trying to build a Lego set by skipping to the end of the instructions
