Their difference of the height is only 5cm in these guy's official pofile. holly shit Erik Haula seems a giant and Conor Garland seems a little kid. Are these official players' profile correct? This made me to doubt about the players' official body size. Anyway why is NHLer's average body weight decreasing every year? I expect NHL players' average body weight will be like England or German soccer players' average body weight soon if this tendency keeps going. Do head coaches prefer undersize players who have fast speed and technique something like puck handling? I don't see big guys even among enforcers like former enforcers like Colton Orr, Brian Macgrattan, Johnny Scott…. I see undersize small players often recently. Sidney Crosby looked like a big-bodied player. Because of the change in rules, I guess head coaches prefer small-sized, fast-paced technicians.
Each fans may have different tastes, but I miss the past when Bob Probert, George Laraque, Shawn Thornton, George Parrows, etc. were actives.
Bob Probert and Marty McSoley in particular was a legendary fight. Come to think of it, the head-to-head match between Shawn Thornton and Riley Cote was also cool. Young players now seemed to have no guts like players back then, but are the guts gone or were they castrated?
Why is the NHL like this? Someone please explain me please. Because the NHL is like this right now, Major League Soccer claims that they will soon turn the tables on the NHL, but it looks like it will be done soon. Is hockey dead now? I think it will become a local sport only played by Scandinavian countries at this point. They are European countries, but hockey is much more popular than soccer. At this rate, the NHL will collapse, and all American and Canadian hockey fans will be able to watch Svenska Hockeyligan or KHL at dawn using a VPN, so I think it will make Putin to make more money then the money will be used for the war in Ukraine.
I can't find any clear medical evidence that fighting causes CTE anywhere. Good, well-educated sports wokes always claim that CTE happens because of fighting, so please someone shows me clear medical evidence about it. Why isn't there a drug test when the Wokes keep making such false claims? If they're right, all boxers and kickboxers must be CTE patients. The DEA's data shows that the harmfulness of cigarettes and alcohol to the body is higher than that of anabolic steroids. Why are there no restrictions on hockey players smoking and drinking? Cratom has no restrictions, either. It is so funny.
