    We also get out shot almost every game. That has to change as well. Stanley is so slow. A fast offensive player can get by him quickly.

    Bro every time I watch stanely play I want to pull my hair out. He gets burnt almsot every game if not multiple times, takes a penalty or more every game and terrible puck management. I would be happy if we just sent him down on waivers and he got claimed

    This is what I mean when I say this Chevy runs the Jets like an AHL or WHL franchise. He rewards loyalty too much and is unwilling to make the hard, but necessary moves, like trading away underperforming players, even if they were drafted and developed in the organization. Instead, apparently it seems better to lose developed d-men like Chisholm and Kovacevic for nothing on waivers to protect Logan Stanley. Even to the point where it's worth protecting Stanley over Appleton in the Kraken expansion draft, just to trade away a draft pack later that season to bring Appleton back.

    The #1 goal in this league is winning the cup. And to do that, GMs need to be ruthless at times. And that means if someone is not cutting it, they are traded for players that can help. Chevy is not willing to do that. Stanley should have been gone 2 years ago, after he requested a trade. Instead, here we are 2 years later, and Stanley is still not regular top 6 d-man and has not gotten any better.

    size only matters if you know how to use it, and even then it needs to come with some good hockey skills. Zadorov is an example of what you want from a big defenceman – he can deal out punishing hits while making good passes and even putting the puck in the net. Quinn Hughes is the most valuable defenceman in the league and he's half the size of Stanley. Stanley is just a very mediocre player who doesn't know how to be a presence on the ice without taking one bad penalty after another.

    Logan Stanley cost us a game vs Vegas. Howden was breaking out of his
    own end, Stanley was on the high side, with a good angle as well. Howden
    blew right by Stanley and left him in the dust and scored. You can't teach
    something like reflexes or foot speed, and Stanley doesn't have the foot
    speed to be a Jets defenseman. He should be traded. I would play Couglan,
    right now, and would not have traded Chisholm. One of the assets a good
    Coach must have, is to be able to judge talent and Arneil is wrong on
    his love affair with Logan Stanley. Trade him, get rid of him and Tiny Heiny
    as well, as he's too small and weak to be a defenseman.

    Cry about Stanley all you want. The real mistake made on our defence was not re-signing BRENDEN DILLON. There's nobody on defence as tough as B.D was .He's a big, solid, tough, banging defenceman. And a veteran leader who would also drop the gloves & pound the shit outta guys when needed. Last year he had 8 goals/20 points & was a plus +20. Is Heinola gonna bring any of that? No. Yeah Dillon is 34, but his game is still solid & at worst when he drops off a little with time he'll still be a solid #5 or #6 D. And Worst of all, He wanted to stay here!. But no, they let him walk & he went to NJ & signed a team friendly 3 year $12 Million deal . Signing here would've also sent another message out there that guys who were traded here & had the option to leave want to stay & play in Winnipeg. But, Oh well…

    2:47 maybe let’s not look to Columbus for shrewd hockey acumen. I think we’re relying on Stanley to be a play-off performer b/c as smart and talented as Ville might be, he will not be winning any board battles in play-off games.

    Agree 100 percent for Stanley! 3 freaking penalties! Can someone please reply with what benefits and reasons he provides the jets? Don't say height or reach. Definitely not speed.

    The Vegas and Dallas games were pretty good games. They stayed competitive in them. And those teams are the class of the league.

    He is a top 6 for sure. On the Moose He didn’t wanna stay in Winnipeg and causes penalties and games and puts the entire game in jeopardy

    I want to disagree but I can't. Yeah. We need a good, big Dman. We need a Big Buff or Trouba or Myers or Chara. I think Chevy is hoping Stanley will develop into one of these guys. But yeah, it's not happening.

    As Wings fan I get it, we have Albert Johansson riding the bench when him and Holl have been clearly better then Petry and Charot but we keep using them as are 2nd pair for whatever stupied reason

    We have Chevy to blame heinola at this point is also a bust he’s always injured as is Stanley he may not be as bad as Stanley but he isn’t much better, they were two of our top prospects and both of them have flopped and Chevy has gave no attention to defense via trades all development.. Chevy failed in my eyes. One good playoff run in 14 yrs tells me he can’t built a true cup contending team

    Here's what I notice. When the Jets were turning up the heat in the second, the refs kept them in the penalty box.

    The entire second period, the jets were a man short. And that took a lot of their gas.

    The refs aren't even hiding their bias anymore. They did the exact same thing to the Leafs 2 nights ago. I watched that game too. Toronto had a commanding 4-0 lead, and then the refs put the Tampa Bay jersey on and just started calling anything and everything against Toronto.

    Thankfully, once the Lightning managed to catch up to make it a 4-3 game… in a matter of 4 minutes 😵‍💫, the Leafs scored an empty netter to seal the deal at 5-3.

    The whole thing was bullsheet though. Complete complete complete bs. The score would have been 5-1 or so if the refs didn't try to control the outcome of the game.

    Love your passion! 10000000% Agree with EVERYTHING you just stated. I've been saying this about Stanley forever… I mean since his draft year when the jets stepped up to get him. Moving up in that draft class to 18 was strange, but IF you were going to do that, you would be doing it because you KNOW you have a star that others are missing on. If they had done it to get Tage Thompson, we would be like… okay, good deal. Even maybe someone like Brett Howden, Trent Frederic, etc… but all 3 of those could have been selected at the 22nd spot. Chevy bleeped up so hard and REFUSES to acknowledge it. I'm telling you now, there is something we don't know about why Chevy went after Stanley. A promise Chevy made to Stanley's dad, something Stanley's dad has over Chevy… something. There is NO WAY smart coaches like Maurice, Bones and Arniel would play a guy like Stanley if they weren't told they MUST! Think about it.

    This team is too wedded to certain players. Is it a function of our inability to get impact players to come here? Are we shopping Stanley ('cause, if true, his stock is tanking)? Something just doesn't make sense. GO JETS GO!
