Hah told yas Coach Rebuild was gonna bench Michkov for not back checking on a dump and change
If I’m not mistaken, the Flyers maintained 3rd place in the Metropolitan division for 2 or 3 months last year. Not quite sure where their heads are this year, I don’t like what I’m seeing, something needs to be done to improve their chemistry!
Either make the playoffs or bottom out as low in the standings as possible.
The only horrible outcome this year will be just barely missing the playoffs again.
Goalies need the ability to steal you some games here and there. Current situation that’s not gonna happen.
The SOG thing is a regression to AV years. How many times do we have to watch them bring it into the zone with a pitter patter crap pass to someone not moving their legs on the blueline. IT DOESN’T FRIGGIN WORK. They can not get it into the zone clean

Tank, tank, & tank. The lottery still doesn't guarantee them the first pick so Danny will need to be trading alot. On offense I'd keep TK, Mitchkov, Poehling, & Hathaway. Start over with the rest. They're 3 or 4 years into their development & have hit a wall. Too many excuses & mistakes. Indecision, hesitation, reluctance to shoot, high n wides, missed the net, just won't go, bad passes & bad clearing attempts, dumb penalties, lots of turnovers. Get somebody who can be the aggressive shooter on the Power Play. And preferably not 5 ft 8 in, 160 l1bs. Enough of the mighty mites. Get speed, size, toughness, & ability to score. Not pass too many times, stand & watch. As for defense I'd keep Risto, Sanhiem, & Seeler. Dump the rest.
Rebuid a very Solid defense, one of the best in the NHL that Will be long but thats what the Flyers need 🏒🤔
Tanking rarely works, so ya don’t do that.
On paper they’re not that bad at all, the on ice product is really puzzling. Definitely not the worst team in hockey. Some players from last year are either on par or took a step back from last year. Big portion of this is definitely goaltending. There’s steps during a rebuild. Relax.
They are a low IQ team with poor spatial awareness. They make a lot of dumb mistakes on the ice over and over again.

As of this morning the Flyers own the #1 overall pick and I am thrilled about that because I know drafting a star center is the only way we will ever get back to be perennial cup contenders… So while I hope to see improvements from the young core and would rather they lose 5-4 every night ii/o winning here & there because that has been why they have been mired in mediocrity this century NEVER having a Top-4 pick in nearly 50 years other than a "lucky" lottery win in 2017 with pick #2… TBH at the time I was disappointed in the Carter Hart situation but without him they actually can & will lose more games !!!

This team is the antithesis of the Carolina Hurricanes, they do not put the puck on net.
Year 3 need to be better
If this season shows us anything it's that this team is in dire need of talent. Treading water like last year with a garbage team and getting the 12th pick was an absolute waste of a season. Trade anything that has value at this point, although it's pretty clear that's not much at all.
I keep hearing "rebuilding." Rebuilding what? A crappy team? I've seen better high school hockey. And the goaltending… OUCH!
