Wow. The fact you're attacking Igor is unreal. He stood on his head all season and post season last year. But he's understandably sick of it. This team doesn't deserve him.

The only motivation he has is ice time and benchings and he hasn't done any of it to the players who need it most. Miller, Trouba, Lindgren playing hurt, Mika… they all should all be riding the pine or watching from the press box… That's on Lavi. NO accountability. Enable their whining and this is what you get. Imagine what Keenan would do to these players…
Blow it up these guys can only get us to ECF…the young guys look good that's a good start.. lets build from there i loved the 2014 boys and we traded them away!!

3 coaches in 5 years. This is clearly on Drury & the players. Hire someone from outside of the organization with no ties to these clowns & fix this mess.
I had a bad feeling ever since Dolan fired Gordon and JD…. they took the easy route and rushed the rebuild. Imo they were never cup ready, Igor covered up alot of their faults and now it's coming to fruition.
I’m wondering if Laviolette lost the room for some reason??? This is crazy though and if it continues I’d get rid of all the big contracts except for panarin(if drury can get rid of them) and just sign Igor if he’s reasonable
As a reasonable and friendly devils fan, I was very surprised how undisciplined the rangers were against the top power play in the league. I do think that embellishing call was not embellishment, but the referees have been horrible this season all around. I'm a firm believer that Jack was not trying to embarrass anyone but that would irritate me. If I were a player and he did that. I'd be more mad at myself that he had that much time and space to do something like that. Hamilton was waving to the devil's fans trying to get them pumped up inside the garden. Either way, this is not the same rangers team we saw last season. But on the flip side of that, this division only got stronger while the rangers didn't change much

I came here to commiserate as I am in disbelief and almost ashamed at this point to be a ranger fan. Lack of effort and intensity. How is this the same squad mostly that made it to the conference final? I still think Troubas huge price tag and wear of the C is probably primary issue here
the time to break up the 'core' was over the summer. I'll never understand the loyalty to Kreider – whose records are there simply due to longevity. He's a world class athlete with no heart, consistency or desire. Never had or never did.
Peter isn't the issue. The issue are the players, Drury and ownership. These are spoiled, wealthy players acting like it. too many don't give a damn and too many are riding on last year – which to be honest was a third-round appearance. Good, but not great.
So sad that Sam Rosen's final year has to be trying to keep this bunch of under-achievers interesting.
Finally, I'd keep Trouba over Kreider and Mika any day. It must be a very difficult thing to do – playing for a club that doesn't want you and has been trying to unload you. Yet, he shows up and plays his game as best he can. The Rangers have a history of trying to make 'stars' into something they aren't. This began with the Sather era. It's why so many had to go elsewhere to win Cups. People like McDonough, Girardi, Richards, Rosival and so many others. Brutal.
Still love Mika but he is so lost in the post game interviews, doesn’t have anything tangible to say, he’s in La La land. Not sure what’s up there.

The truth is this team cant be held accountable because the locker room is full of soft ppl. There is a reason that they have cycled through three coaches in 5 seasons. They will have you packing. They are ok with mediocrity.

For a couple of years i said they needed a new captain and better D but this past month I see no energy or motivation. It’s like they gave up and just want to get through the day. They don’t even look sad that they lost sometimes.
