Are you worried about Canucks lack of scoring?

Are you worried about the Canucks lack of scoring so far this season? How spectacular has Kevin Lankinen been for Vancouver? Is it time for a rebuild in Boston? TSN Hockey analyst Bruce Boudreau joins SC with Jay Onrait to share his thoughts.

  1. NO the Answer is No. Offence comes and goes in Vancouver. Hell Brock might even score 4 goals tomorrow, you never know with these heart attack canucks

  2. Absolutely Not, different dynamics for them this season, they need another big guy, a banger, a guy who can stand in front of the net, a Jordan Greenway from Buffalo, Vancouver give him a new lease on life as you did for Zadorov, only this time don't be so friggin frugal when it comes to signing guys who play for their teammates, coaches, and City !!!

  3. The leafs have 64 GF in in 21 GP. Canucks 63 GF in 20 GP. I find it hilarious that TSN doesn’t realize Joshua missed the start of the year with Cancer, Boeser was out with concussion, Petey early season struggles, and now Miller on leave. Nice seeing some depth scoring from Vancouver. You would think having 4 forwards making more than 10 million, you wouldn’t be one goal ahead with a game in hand. Should Toronto be worried?

  4. As a canucks fan I always loved the way Bruce talked about the game. He’s simple about it while clearly still having an extremely deep knowledge of it… not sure if he’s officially finished with coaching but a lot of teams could use this guy simply for his boost in morale.

  5. Trade Elias Pettersson for Sidney Crosby. 3 seasons for the Canucks to win the Cup with 87. Pens get younger. WIN WIN.
Trade Elias Pettersson and a prospect for Sidney Crosby and Bryan Rust (or Rickard Rakell).
    GET IT DONE DUBAS!!!!!!!!!!

  6. If I were a fan of the Canucks, I would be quite concerned about the lack of scoring in that away game against the Bruins that ended under 10 hours ago. Those Canucks squeaked by, with Kevin Lankinen having stopped every shot that he had faced. Just imagine if he hadn't been on his game because the margin for error was pretty much nil. Maybe for the next game the Canucks play they'll score at least three goals and do so well before the end of the 3rd period but, like so many other things in life, pretty much anything goes on whether the Canucks will, in their Wednesday Eastern Time game against the Penguins, have sufficient stamina to even come close to winning that game; the Winnipeg Jets coincidentally easily beat those Penguins last week Friday ET but struggled the following evening to score even one goal in a 4-1 loss to the Preds. Last weekend featured a set of games on consecutive days ET for the Canucks, and they ended up winning one game but losing the other in regulation.

  7. Vancouver had 4 players in the top 20 last year at this time. This year there is only one in the top 100 (Hughes #97).

  8. Teams don’t rebuild. They retool. Rebuilds take 15 years to get back to where they need a rebuild.
