In July, the Philadelphia Flyers re-signed Travis Konecny to an 8-year, $8.75 million AAV deal. At the time, eyebrows were raised for the amount the Flyers gave the veteran for his production over the years. Even though the contract kicks in next year, it seems to be worth every penny with Konecny’s recent play.

I like Konecny but 8 years+ one is very long Will see 🤷🏒🤔
Konecny just looks like a Flyer. Like, he gives off that vibe of attitude and just wanting to play to the fullest. I appreciate his grind to our club.
