This might turn Mac's season around.
im so glad we won!
What is your favourite Boston Bruins moment since you became a fan?
It's good to see McAvoy contributing offensively. 👍
Hi bruinsdiehards! I’m 13 years old and I live in NY. I love watching your channel. It has basically become a religion to watch every one possible. Your videos inspired me to even make a channel like yours. I was thinking maybe you could give me a shoutout in one of your future videos to help me gain more subscribers. Thank you! Let’s go Bruins!
game 7 in Vancouver'2011
…that was the game that had me shed the Canucks as a hometown fan and go with the Bruins. I guees I didn't wanaa wait another decade and with the bruins theres hope every game!
the rivalary has dropped off with the habs since they stopped playing them 8 games a year.
As for the game, the bruins played amazing but again it was in spurts and not continuous. the got out shot in the 2nd and out scored in the 3rd. Swayman looked good but not sure if the Bruins let up off the gas once they went up 5-1, or that the habs just started to play better.
I would have loved to have seen the game played in the Matthews Arena. That would have been amazing! but since that arena only holds about 4600 people, northwestern owning it, and the Bruins having to make a deal I knew it would never happen.
Sway and Korpi need to share the load and become competitive amongst themselves. Push each other. Sway has yet to show his salary but there is a lot of season left and I am hopeful. And again, drag Korpi with you.
Great game today with all the history. Seeing The Chief, Bobby, and Phil and all the other vets was especially nice. Great memories as a kid and too many to pick one. Sanderson flair, Kenzie the raccoon, Cashman grit, Hodge, Greenie, Cheese. I shouldn’t have started this list.
mcavoy can be dynamic when he plays confident. i hope he builds off of today's game. favorite memory for me as a Bruins fan — meeting Tim Thomas by accident at the local mall in late November 2010. Back then, Timmy lived about two towns over and on this night the mall wasn't too busy. Me and my wife.. with our Bruins gear on… saw him at the sunglasses hut with his wife, haha. He kept looking at us sheepishly like he knew that we knew. And after a few seconds I asked him if he was Tim Thomas of the Bruins and he smiled and said "yeaah" in a very quiet and coy way. He obviously wanted his privacy and we respected that too by not being loud about it, but we had to tell him how we were big fans. He shook our hands and said "thanks guys, i appreciate it" and we wished him luck with the rest of the season. Very nice guy. Months later, the Bruins won the cup and made that surreal meeting even cooler in hindsight.
I noticed quite a few times, Coyle stayed out w/ Kastelic and Koepke
That's right Little Debbie McAvoy had a great night
My personal favorite moment as a B’s fan was when I went to my first NHL game. I lived near Tampa Bay at that time so I went to go see the bruins play (Also, Amalie Arena in my opinion is one of the best the league has to offer). Anyways the game went to overtime and Coyle scored the OT winner. I’ve never been more happy in my life.
I fucking love the yellow socks.
Has McAvoy finally woke up? Man I hope so.
But seriously it was another multi-goal game so yeah…good result.
They are playing a better game lately.
And when it's against the Habs it's even sweeter. Go Bruins.
So your dad didn't make it over the boards in NY. Too bad in a way, imagine the stories he could have told, lol. I do envy you though, you got to hear all the old stories of his playing days and the characters he played with and against. I love hearing those stories from ex players. As a matter of fact I play tennis with Greg Theberge who was in the on ice ceremony today. I'm sure you cherish that game worn jersey and rightly so.
I'm so glad we have Kastelic. He brings so much speed and forechecking into our game. He didn't score tonight but he was flying all over the place and I was even mad that the fight with Xhekaj sent him out for half of the 2nd period.
prob janney…..my family are close with some hockey families, prob why i whine so hard when i see folks get great money and underperform@! That intro was really nice to see!
I certainly wasn't crying through that whole ceremony lol who has more fun than us? GG too.
3:00 Looks like it went wide lol
Bruins won against a last place Montreal team. Unless they’re going to win a few games in a row well that’s it in a nutshell. As for me watching Cam play with passion and grit was my favourite time watching them play.
Passtrnak😊at this point he would fake out the goalie by shooting
*Espo/bourque 7/77 sweater thing was pretty cool
12:27 I thought Sway might've been screened on that one
Terrific video. Loved that legends intro. Thank you.
As a long time norwegian fan, for me it was Ray Bourque handing the number 7 to Esposito jersey retirement, and the Stanley Cup win in 2011.
Love that drone video, too bad Chara wasn't in it.
The jersey's looked good up close, but the long gold on the sleeves and socks made them looked like Pens jerseys on tv during the play by play
My favorite moment was being in the Garden when #4 scored his 100th point for the first time for a defenseman.
Game 7 2011
Ray Bourque said so many meaningful things during the interview about the team and particularly McV.
I remember in the 22-23 season me and my dad would joke about not even having to watch the game bc they were going to win. Now, until recently we have been talking about them losing in new and exciting ways. I’m so glad they might have finally found their groove. What was your favorite bruins era?
Such a far cry from my days as a kid in the 70s running around the old Garden (still miss that old barn!)
I want them to switch to that branding next season. Take the patch off, drop a bit of the yellow off the bottom of the sleeve, and it'd be perfect
