I said it before but this team never stops trying and working hard.
It’s so nice to see.
They have a long way to go but they are so much fun to watch.
LETS GO FLYERS !! !!!
I for one am glad the Flyers didn't make the trade with Columbus! We don't need more dmen right now! Patience let's see what we have and yes trade for a 1c
Pretty great turnaround after a terrible start. Good point about Andrae….he's been great and I've always loved Risto for his physical play, but he has been a revelation…
Again, DB has made all the easy decisions.
It's time to make the hard decisions and taking a run at Jiricek would have been just that.
If you refuse bottom out and build the proper way, then you have to take big swings and be in on certain players when they are available.
Which brings to me back to the question of… where was Chuckles when Eichel was being moved on from in Buffalo?
Flyers roster versus Phillies roster. Would much rather watch a young group of over achievers than……..you know the rest.
Sanheim is playing insane. Risto is playing the best hockey of his career. Andrae has been unexpectedly spectacular. York re-adjusting after injury. Throwing assets out just for a guy who is 'young and big' to play 3rd pairing (or get scratched/sent down again) would be silly… seems about as silly as tanking for picks.
also, Kim D. definitely killing it getting two unproven goalies ready. Fedotov has visibly shown huge improvement from his first few starts.
I have really been impressed with what Brad Shaw has done with our defense. And goaltender coach (Dilly) and his accomplishments so far. Instead of concentrating on an A1 center, why can’t they try to get an {A1} offensive coach. I feel like the Flyers are lacking in that coaching area. Love the show, Jason and hope you’re feeling better. Go Flyers!
