Package was 2 big
1st 2nd 3rd 4th and a player 😅
We already have a Jiricek, what we need is an experienced RD to stabilize our D, it's rough right now.
I’ll be honest. I don’t know what went wrong with Jiricek in Columbus. You’d think they are a team who could use another weapon like Werenski. What stings still is that the Habs traded Sergachev for Drouin. He could’ve been anchoring our D right now.
What package would you have put together if you were running the Habs? Or, why would you have passed on a trade? Weigh in below👊🏻
I wonder if maybe the Habs were thinking that Jiricek is young and needs time to develop but the organisation is already planning on bringing up Mailloux and Reinbacher in the next year or so. That's way too many inexperienced players at the same position, one that is partcularly difficult to master. They could be looking to acquire an experienced RD who can handle big minutes for the younger players coming up.
Why do they need a Jiricic? They have Maillioux and Reinbacher, they need to move matheson for a stay at home, physical Rd
I think they should made the trade to at least shake up the team. The team is going backwards with rebuild
Price was too high for a RHD who can't skate.
I think David J. He is another KK. So no thanks.
How many D-men do you want the Habs to sign?
Way before this season started I was disappointed that they traded away Kovacevic. There was nothing wrong with him. Played the game solid and steady
I see a familiar pattern taking place with Montreal, plenty of talent, but a huge failure in developing them and letting them play within their skills.
We don't need rookie right d. We need an established right handed d.
