  1. Canucks left defensemen were MIA. Left Oilers standing alone wide open for easy goals too many times. That has to be addressed by the coaching staff.

  2. Too bad they didn't show the highlight of the loser throwing their jersey on the ice πŸ˜‚

  3. Canucks severely DOWNGRADED their team over the summer. Don't like the changes and the new "gentle giant" Desarnais is too soft.

  4. Oilers played great and the Canucks played quite decent until the third.

Lankinen should have been pulled earlier as he did let in some bad goals, also Tocchet should have used a timeout. We definitely need to lay off playing Lanky so much as he is still a backup.

Canucks do have some injuries too so hopefully they heal up asap.

  5. This is what Sheldon Keefe wished would happen every time he called an early timeout with the leafs πŸ˜‚

  6. Leon makes the difference! As always! German Power! Need him at the next World Championships so much!

  7. Most Oiler goals were scored when Vancouver was in lackadaisical mode and it wasn't just the call ups who gave the puck away but veteran Canucks too,….you gotta remember if we don't put it in their net, they're gonna come back down and put it in ours….whoever can control the puck the best is going to win, not who can skate the most….

  8. Good coaching, playing Brown etc in the third. Gives those guys a chance to help their stats. This is how a good team works. Some teams let the big guns pad their stats when the game is over. Habs fan here but follow Oilers and Canucks with interest. Not much joy in Habs land right now. Hope McDavid is not doing his injury any harm.

  9. Wow we got rinsed. Alright Edmonton you win This round. I think this might be Lankinen’s worst game. 0-1 against the oilers, at least Petey is doing good things again.

  10. Skinner should of left his goalie stick on the ice for the first goal against. He would have saved it but lifted it off the ice and puck went thru the five hole

  11. No slight on Lankanen, he played well. The Oilers just flat out spanked them. The knowledge that it is only going to get harder for opposition to keep up, everything going to get faster as Oilers get tuned up…. Canuckleheads aren't looking for next meeting……

  12. Yep. Thats what you get vancouver. Worthless franchise, fans, and players. Oh wait no you are worth something. Your fans are good at destroying their own city when they lose haha. Have fun with your overrated defenseman and overgrown fetus petterson.

  13. Canucks fans are 50% chinese fobs that dont even understand hockey lol. Wack little team

  14. Should PP goals be counted if it's just some seconds after the powerplay had ended. The penalized player coming out of the penalty box has some seconds to make a difference in play so the the team that had the man advantage still has some seconds after the PP had ended. 3 Seconds for sure but 5 secconds might be too much

  15. Gotta be humble as a fan Canuk fans. Can,t be too cockyl it'll bite you in the ass. This ass whipping just proves the Canuks don,t walk on water, lol it's frozen.😊

  16. Really nice seeing us score some "ugly" goals. Getting in on the net, being physical, creating confusion. For all of our success last year, and the slick moves and plays. It was something we lacked at times, the dirty work up close.
