  1. He’s still put up some points, but hasn’t potted the goals yet. Kadri’s benefited from him at times. Just hasn’t worked yet. Hoping when Yegor gets his feet under him, that line will be better, but I expect Huska’s gonna move some guys around

  2. Huberdeau, Kumenko, Mantha are all highly skilled players. But have nowhere near the hard work ethic or IQ of Matthew Tkachuk – which is why he won a Stanley Cup.

  3. Thats the reason they were traded in the first place… Its delusional to believe "they need to be better" build a better team around them and keep their contracts at more realistic levels should have been the priority

  4. I thought he was playing hard and good defensively too.
    I think he is giving it a good effort. It isnt showing up in the point production yet but its early in the season. I havent given up on him yet but on this team as it is playing now no one is getting many shooting chances.
    The whole team are lacking in shots because they cant move the puck up the ice in control.
    They cant get up through the neutral zone in good possession of the puck. You have to have some puck control in order to get a shot.
    Its not happening.
