  1. Fuck gudbranson. First malkin then erat then little. He needs to be suspended. Then he needs to think twice about doing the cheap shit he's been doing

  2. Size difference made an otherwise clean hit to the head. He didnt make an attempt to target the head and he didnt leave his feet. I'd say maybe a game or two if Little has any kind of injury that's more than day-to-day

  3. I dont normally respond to youtube comments, but are you crazy? He DID target the head and both his feet are off the ground! haha I dont know how you can be so wrong. Coming from a leafs fan.

  4. Guds shouldn't have left his feet but aside from that it's not a bad play. Guds "targeted the head" about as much as Little turned into Guds' shoulder on his own. It won't stop Shanahan from giving him five games but that's because Shanny's a freaking idiot.

  5. "Clean hit to the head" is an oxymoron, seriously. Might be a troll though, if not, you have absolutely zero clue what you're talking about and have a negative hockey IQ. Dude should get suspended 3-4 games for that crap, it's intent to injure and with as much attention as concussions are getting, this is exactly the type of crap they're trying to get rid of. No attempt to play the puck just aiming your shoulder at his head and putting all your weight behind it, what a disgrace to the game.

  6. Isn't it only the blindside hits that mention contact with the head in the rule book?

It's a two way street, while the traditional "keep your head up!" argument applies, it's also on the player delivering the hit to try to do so safely. Honestly, he'd have had to like cannonball downward to avoid Little's head. Worst thing about it was that he was driving upwards, I wish players would stop doing that as it's the same as leaving your feet, IMO (worse, because you transfer more energy).

  7. really not sure about this hit. The way he hit Little indicated he was going to just bodycheck him, but again Gudbranson is freaking huge. Don't think it'll warrant a suspension.

  8. Give me a fucking break! That's a clean hit are you people kidding me?! The only reason that got called a penalty and it looked that bad is the size difference, when you have a guy that is 6'4 hitting a guy that is 5'11 that probability of you hitting his head is very high. He was not targeting the head and he didn't intentionally leave his feet watch the video, when he makes contact is when his feet leave the ground idiots.

  9. before or AFTER contact was made. players "leave their feet" quite often after impact. simple physics

  10. this is quite possibly the softest match penalty I have seen…… this isnt even remotely dirty, there is literally nothing you can say is bad. his elbow is firmly tucked in, his feet are planted at the point of contact, and he hits with his shoulder
it sucks the height mismatch caused a problem, but how can you give a match penalty for that? the NHL is slipping…..

  11. Guddy is just too beast for this league ahahahha. like his third game misconduct for a hit inwhich hes like a full foot taller than the other guy

  12. too short to play in the league
    AHAAHAHA
This guy will be the top d man in Vancouver and gives the Canucks tons of options on the backend.
Sign Hamhuis and the d looks good for next year.
