Hes a good. No space for him on a contending team. Im western conference. Hes a liability ..too many penalties. Hes probably done.
Keep Matt Rempe and don’t bring up Othmann. This is why this team will never win make me or any normal thinking person the GM and they would never lose. It’s just common sense. Wrong decisions for 25+ years. What’s is the result…. Yup…. I rest my case.
Leggo, would love to see you make a video on what you think about moving Xhekaj to forward so that we still have his toughness without having a D-man sit in the box for fighting? It may even be better, considering he’s not the best defensively and this would allow a guy like struble to secure a left sided Defence role while freeing up the right side for a guy like Barron or Edstrom
Matt Rempe is an enforcer / boogie man, cant expect shiny stats from guys like him. I like the kid, wish NHL had 13th forward spot.
The Rangers are Shesterkin… plus some other guys.
Nope not done
He’s the best
One of the Rangers biggest problems the last few years has been a lack of depth at forward. He worked last year because there was no one in their bottom six scoring. You might as well run a goon out. He at least could do something.
This year they have nine forwards with more than a half point a game. Last year they had five.
This is a good sign for the Rangers. But some other team with no second half of a line up could probably use him.
Everyone outside of rangers fans knew he would have a short nhl career if all he was good for is using his body. There’s a reason certain players who are seen as today’s “goons” are still in the league, and that’s because they are producing. Now a days, everyone needs to be a threat. No one holds a roster spot just to fight anymore. Rangers got away with it last season, AFTER already securing a playoff spot. There’s a reason rempe averaged 5 minutes of ice time in the playoffs.
Rempe need to play in a system that would help him flourish not as a fighter but as a Hockey player
FL, TB, DAL , CA comes to mind . Systems with not only great coaches but good mentor players . Rempe doesn't have that in NY.
He could be closed to Chára type plyer . No joke . Also what keeping him down is his immaturity, he fight when he needs to defend and defends when he needs to take someone head off instead to spark the team
I do not think he is a everyday hockey player. Chance of rough stuff bring him in. Games where the other team can't take liberties you don't need him sit him down. Some tough games down the stretch you will need a guy like that. At the same time hope he does not cost you. Just keep working with him. There is a bit of a intimidation factor. Be like Dave Brown ages ago.
With is size and style of play he just needs to show competence at the NHL level to earn another look. He could be valuable as an enforcer when needed as well as a hard hitter and net front presence. Obviously he has a lot more work to do at Hartford to get better at hockey so it's questionable but the brass want to see him here so he has that edge.
Go get Letang and get rid of miller
Yes he hits but he really not a good fighter he loses most of the time
Enforcers need to be able to play also he cant
Remps is done i think
I pray to God I never see the day he’s in another team’s jersey other than New York or Hartford. Once he gets called up he’d take the Rangers lunch money whenever he’d see them
Training with Georges laraque didn't help
Yard BAKER???? hahahahaha dude.. credibility -1… Yardbarker.. if you're going to assign credit from a source.. do it right..
He just needs to get better in all aspects of his game but with no playing tim we he has zero chance to getting better
AHL Hartford is playing Rempe at center to see how does at the position, which he previously played at much lower levels. Apparently through 5 games it’s not working out too well. Thanks for the update! Look for Hartford to switch him back to wing, where he’s an absolute terror & nightmare for the D-men he’s forechecking, before sending him further down to the ECHL.
YardbaRker. YARDBArKER. YARDBARKER!!
I would trade for him
He fights but he wasn't even really good at it, especially for his size. For some reason, Ranger fans were obsessed with this guy and thought he was going to be the next Cam Neely. He's had his 15 minutes of fame, now he'll remain in obscurity in the AHL where he belongs.
Bruins need Rempe.
u r fake news! typical for a snowflake
Just like your useless channel
He's a kid, and We need him to be ready to take Carricks spot in a year or 2. He hasn't even grown into his frame yet.
I’m a Wolfpack ticket holder, I was shocked when he went up, same as Mancini…. Vito had showed up with a handful of games left in the season last year, I loved his stay at home defensive style and I’m glad he’s getting experience with the big club and think he’ll go back up. I’m high on this kid #24 BenoitOliver Giroux, this kid has 6 goals so far, good face off man, I’d love to see him get the call, he’s better than lescion , jake
I hope he comes back , go rempe
Isn't he a 6'7" player? He'll be 7' 3" by the time he's 25 he's a unique player with tremendous upside still young his shoulder's still haven't filled out completely by a physicalology maturity standard he puts people in the building he will get better he will be in the league and remember he's the gladiator your the spectator
Rempe is far from done. What I saw against the Blues is that Rempe is one of the few Rangers right now who actually cares about winning and getting physical. He is one of the few who actually has any fire in the belly.
This didn’t age well…
