wife bought first bowl behind penalty box tickets,
it’s my first home game and my wife’s first hockey game ever,

The Leafs didn't play well, but Ottawa deserves their flowers. They can definitely score goals, and their defensive structure and goaltending has looked a heck of a lot better this year. Sens are a pretty good team if they can stay healthy, especially now that they've got a good goalie

I'm more of an NCAA hockey fan more than the NHL, and I think Alex Steeves has a chance to be an impact player for the Leafs. He averaged over a point per game during his last year at Notre Dame in '21 on a defensive-minded team and in one of the lowest-scoring seasons in college hockey history. It was the year Cole Caufield won the Hobey Baker Award when there were very few high-scoring players in the NCAA.
Leafs are doing this on purpose, so we can watch more of your awesome desperate videos.

There's something wrong with the Leafs' collective gut biome. They blow an initial 'gut-check' game to the Bruins, 2 games to their coach's former team and now they lay down in a 'Battle of Ontario' game. What an unpredictable group of mysteries.
I genuinely feel bad for ya Steve…. but the quicker you start the rebuild, the quicker you might actually get a sniff at the cup. This core ain't it. Captain Matthews CLEARLY ain't it. The window is closed, and as long as you keep Shanny around, it's guaranteed annual failure.

So….. I was at this one…. with my daughter…. for her 1st game…. UGH. Damn Sens. I had a GREAT date night with my daughter despite the loss. She is not big onto hockey. We have taken her to Marlies games, but this was next level for her so that made my night. Leafs owe her a Goal the next time she has the opportunity.
