  1. Hey Avs fans, we all know our team waits till the last second to be good. See yall in the playoffs.

  2. as of 1am easten, the caps are 2nd in the league in goal differential, 2nd in the eastern conference, 5th in the league overall. theyre official af!

  3. Going back to last season….I sort of have no confidence in an avalanche win if they don't give up the first goal within the first two minutes of the game. Whenever they get an early lead….or any lead, I figure they will probably lose. Just anecdotal, no actual statistics to back up that claim.

  4. The amount of goals Avs lost just to turn overs and the amount of turnovers in defensive zone truly amazed me, i wonder how any records wasn't broken

  5. McMichael is having a breakout year man. He's found his footing with the big boys Dubois and Wilson on the line. He's looking good defensively, too, which also translates to offense as seen on the 2nd goal. This line is really be a handful for every other team with their ferociousness and above avg speed, especially for their size.

  6. as an avs fan I kind of expected them to lose with so many pieces back. it usually doesn't click right away. and they were playing against rolling capitals that are kind of overachieving right now

  7. McMichael is fire.
I say he buys in with whatever Spencer is teaching.

Solid looking defensive game by the Caps.

Actually hang on to a lead for the win.

  8. Idk how the Avs think they'll go deep into the playoffs with goaltending and bottom-4 D like this.

  9. McMichael calling for that pass and hammering that goal home, is a great sign for the Caps. They have confidence, speed, they're young, smart, their team play is some of the best I've ever seen from any era of the Capitals. Spencer Carberry deserves a lot of credit, too.

  10. for people asking why Sandin looked off Ovi it’s probably because the team got too cute with empty nets in their last game vs Toronto, and ended up losing in overtime. its not any deeper than that.

  11. A couple of things, man that was almost like a mini home game for the capitals! I can’t believe all the caps fans there! Wow! Also I think we all can also agree that over the last decade or more, the caps really have not done that great in the free-agent market! downright pitiful actually but man they hit a Homerun with their pick ups this year! Also…Sandin? On the empty netHe should’ve passed that over to Ovie for an easy goal. I’m just saying..😂 Great win and great win over the Golden Knights tonight Ovi with the hat trick! Let’s Go Caps!

  12. This was an incredible game! I was especially surprised and delighted by how the Caps were able to keep all of the Avs players completely locked out! I’m very impressed with how well McMicael has done and Chychrun in particular has fit it! Amazing!
