Keep Kakko there are others that can be traded, Rangers have to stop selecting players that will not produce. I feel for Laviolette breaking up lines and creating new lines is not an easy task knowing that players won't exactly feel comfortable to do as they are showed. N.Y led the game 3-0 and to win 4-3 tells you they have a big problem they're not on point, they delay, too many passes to NO one, lack of confidence it's a total inconsistent team and I say this with FRUSTRATION.

Trouba will most likley be gone next off season. Lindgren will prob walk to but it wouldnt be worth to get assets for him. We need him playoff time.
This is why i was so high on trading laffy.
I dont see krider or mika going anywhere, we dont want to be in toronto teritory so it makes sense to part away from laffy…. as we see cuyyle can be just as suffiencent for cheaper….
Im not against including Kakko in the right deal, but i look around in December amd i try put the "right " deal together and i cant. To me the priority has to be Trouba, miller and lindgren we need serious help back there .
All the rumors started or encouraged by management could well hurt morale rather than encourage players.
That said, the players most in question mostly played well in yesterday's win. Kakko hasthe winning goal and Trouba had a decent fight. Overall D in front of our goal was still questionable, but there was actual hitting and Quick saw 28 shots instead of 50.
Let's see what the Devils game tomorrow brings. Wish they'd call up Rempe and Harpur for that one.
Unlike most I'm not a big Kakko fan. Rangers can't move Mika or Panarin, but they can move Miller & Kakko in a package that would potentially bring back the best return. I'd love it if Rangers could trade with the Sabres for Bowen Byram & maybe Jack Quinn, but that's probably a reach. At this point I'm already looking to next year, counting on the addition of Othmann & Perrault. Our third line is an illusion because I can't see Chytil as a long term player even though he's really good. He just appears to be fragile & I see him as a perpetual injury problem. Cullye drives that line & he's a budding star. Kakko may be great defensively but he was drafted as an elite sniper & he's hardly that. Trade him when his value is highest. Miller is young & some teams might think they can develop him better than the Rangers.

I really hope they keep kakko. Trouba and Kreider can go, not because I don't like them but because it'll free up much needed cap space.

If they trade Kreider I'm making a prediction now that well wind up playing against him in the playoffs and he'll kill us. IF we get in and don't just absolutely implode. I say put kakko up there with bread and see if he busts through like Laf

Kakko is having just as good a season as Laffy did last year. Just sneakily so with less coverage. Let’s just wait and see. I like him at center.
