Since being diagnosed at 12 years old, Max Domi has worked hard every day to tackle a myth: that type 1 diabetes holds people back from living active lives.
To celebrate World Diabetes Day, we teamed up with Max to design a custom stick that raises awareness for Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) – the leading T1D research organization. Visit BreakthroughT1D.ca for more information.

I was diagnosed with t1d this year at 37 and i had the same thought, can I still play hockey? Definitely made life more challenging but knowing there's guys like Max and Kappo doing it at the highest level gave me hope.
Class act. A respectable man. ❤ I’m glad Leafs signed him.
This is the guy you choose for a cool stick give a way? Boring…

I can’t believe bauer has changed their iconic name bar font
Huh the “medical” symbol is actually incorrect, the symbol with two serpents around a rod is a different god than healing, instead it is the god of lies and thieves. The real symbol is a worm wrapped on a stick, similar but not identical. Someone messed it up in the past and they kind of just went with it. The symbology is interesting though, the controlling companies care more for making money than helping people, the only reason they are trustworthy are the doctors that still abide by the hypocritic oath
