Lifelong Sabres fan now living in Missouri…not much NHL coverage here in the Ozarks…what exactly is the deal with Buffalo??? It seems like the have 20 1st round picks on the team most top 10…individually l would say he's good he's good he's good and so on and so forth…but they SUCK…what is going on?????

Sabres ever learn how to take a man on D would be surprising, they suck EVERY night.
I remember those old Jerseys, loved them, always wore it playing goal, pretending to be Domenic Hasek (didn't quite get to his level). Sabres worked hard, but too many defensive breakdowns. 4th goal was a killer. Sabres need a veteran presence on the blueline to settle the D core down a bit. Want to see Thompson using his size more than he does.

Can anyone actually say that the Sabres are any better under Ruff than they were under Granado? It's like peewee hockey at times when they all chase the puck. The first goal against was terrible, where was defence?. Nothing against the Islanders but they are not a great team, mid table at best, but they deserved the win.

The Buffa-goat sweaters are back, and what makes it a bit of a throwback is that Lindy Ruff was coaching the Buffalo Sabres when the team was using that logo. Now that he's back behind the bench, it feels like we just went back in time.
