the GM placating to the team is what got them to where they are. they cant lose pettersson for nothing. they wont be able to resign him so i hope dubas gets a good amount back. if edmonton and vancouver both want him, the price should go up, right?
Next 4 games will tell a lot. Though he could have been freed midyear last year, if Sullivan gets this team a mere playoff berth, he should be up for the Adams. He did not squander those three days off.
We still need another young defencemen. Shea has just never really been good. And Grzelcyk is just flat-out terrible. As far as our forwards; Hayes is honestly solid, but Nieto is just a wasted roster spot. Puljujarvi being a constant scratch is just ridiculous, the man isn't getting a proper chance.
I liked Tomasino in Nashville & was a little surprised they were willing to trade him just like L.A. letting Lizotte go. Even more surprised Dubas acquired them
I’d still like to see them get Pullijarvi (don’t know how to spell) In the lineup in place of someone like a Kevin Hayes or another veteran who won’t be here in the future.
Not exactly sure what clicked with them all of a sudden but they've been a completely different team this week. A week ago they were dead in the water but now there's life.
Looks that Sullivan wants to play with shorter and faster guys fast style hockey. Puljujärvi, Poulin big boys who maybe need more ice and time on the rink, maybe not fit into Sullivan system. Lets see they will get spot in team anymore or not.
