Zegras took a really stupid penalty !
McTavish was brutal on the face offs.
Cronin might be the worst lineup coach ever to lead the Ducks. He literally seems lost. 1st several games he would not make changes when the chemistry wasn;t there for most lines. Then all of a sudden he starts messing w ALL the lines even those that didn't need shuffling and has continued this way, seemingly just random "ok you go play here now" changes. A "teaching coach" who developed a lot of the Av's strong players all sounds good on paper, those papers are all crumbled up now, not the guy.
I hope next game starts with a huge line brawl like what happened in 2021 with Tom Wilson
All around good game, Z should of left that up to Gudas to handle though. We played good just not good enough to finish. 3rd was the worst an they got down and slowed way down, gota keep that pace if they are going to do anything this season. Well just nit in the bottom 10 please 🙏 but as always let's go ducks ill never stop rooting for you

This "team" just doesn't t appear to be having any fun. Whether it is line construction or lack of effort they just can't play consistent hockey. Looks like the rebuild will languish on like Buffalo, and few of these players will be around long. Another top 5 pick again in 2025…

The Ducks haven’t shown any response in protecting each other all season.
They don’t protect their goalie after whistles, and they don’t protect one of their top players after they get hurt.
Are they just too afraid of taking penalties or do they just not give a shit.

The Ducks need a coach with some fire. Cronin seems scared to make any moves. His players reflect that, dead in the water. Its a shame
Carlsson is the franchise, and the Ducks need to find some goons to make sure opposing teams know that there will be serious consequences for doing this to their young players, especially Leo. This also isn’t the first time this has happened to Leo. I saw it happen a few times last season.
The lack of spark from this team is not pretty. No shadow on Gudas but the other guys need to follow. I'm usually against sacking coaches mid season but this can't go on. How can a team develop if they don't even care to have fun?
Hopefully Leo is just bruised and will be back quickly.
I'd like to see Zegras playing with Leo on the wing. They are the closest match in hockey IQ ducks have, they are both solid in their own end. Zegras gets what he wants and Leo is as good a winger as he is a center (he played wing in the SHL all the time). Pair these with the snipers a few, Vatrano and Cutter for example and let them worry about shooting the puck and get some confidence back.
They need to get something going, because both of the goalies deserve a better team in front of them at this point.
Honestly, it feels like Gudas is the only one willing to stand up for teammate in this team
Missed opportunity losing to Seattle on home ice. If we played like the Dallas game, 60 minutes of hockey, different outcome. The hit on Leo looked bad. Hope he’s okay. I will be at the game tonight near the Ducks bench cheering on the Ducks. Hope they come with an edge and send a message! We need the forecheck and hustle. Gudas, I counting on you to hit everything in sight! Go Ducks!

This text is just after 11/27th game, the Kraken 2nd game…. I have been saying, " if Ducks play more physical and check especially some open ice hits, it will get the team pumped, and create more energy", I play defense, and check quite a bit forcing other teams to lose their cool creating opposing teams to take penalties. I also think McTavish remind me a lot of Matthew Tkachuk, McTavish needs to be more physical and hit, and boy he came out and played a good physical game. I think the rest of the team contributed with more physical play. It's kind of strange, "did the team read my text" . They played a solid game last night and they won, congratulations Ducks let's keep the physical play going, but don't take the penalties sucker them into taking a penalty. Just get their number and, line them up later in the game. Make them take the penalties, piss the other team off. Go Ducks! ❤
Been a Ducks fan my whole life, but that hit on Leo was as clean and on time as it gets. Leo got squared up shoulder to shoulder immediately after the puck left his stick. It was just a bad location and Leo isn't exactly a brick shit house. If thats the standard then Killorn's hit would be a penalty as well.
