Isles played well and came away with the win, but credit to the Sabres for fighting back. Everyone always talk about the Islanders-Rangers rivalry (NYC vs. Long Island). But I've also been interested with the idea of a dynamic between the Sabres and the Islanders (Upsate NY vs. Long Island).
You know this Sabres scrimmage team is a godsend for the league…it's just the right tool for every GM to see if their 3rd and 4th line talent has what it takes to play in the NHL.
