The NHL’s Department of Player Safety reviewed the play and issued the suspension, citing the dangerous nature of the hit and Jeannot’s prior disciplinary history. This suspension sidelines Jeannot for upcoming games against the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Seattle Kraken.

While the timeframe of the event maybe quick while watching it, the fact that these players have been playing, and watching the game, at this point for near on a decade or more. Know not only the speed of the game, but the general motions of players as they do different moves and move their bodies accordingly. Many of these moves or motions would be near universal within hockey. So, recognizing this and then moving themselves accordingly in this situation. As such since Mr. Jeannot only willingly and willfully through that shoulder to head would be the thing to do, he consciously and purposely follows through with such motion. As such hishould be subject to the maximu available punishment and fine allowed within the NHL CBA.
in other words, it was a dumb move, and he should be out for a long time.

Offending player has to sit out while the injured player sits out and then their suspension should START once the injured player is back in the lineup for his team.
And of course no cannucks player is going to stand up to jeannnot Canucks need a true enforcer on there team to answer the bell

3 games suspension is INSUFFICIENT. This was COMPLETELY INTENTIONAL TO INJURE. Suspend for the COMPLETE DURATION OF recovery time for the injured player…
Didn't even see this hit somehow. Sbsolute trash ass hit. Should've been given 5-10 games, regardless of Jeannot not having prior suspensions. One of the most classless hits I've seen in a while.

Jeannot gets a mini-holiday while the Canucks lose their leading scorer and Boeser faces uncertainty with a new contract coming up. Hands up those who think the NHL effectively deters head hunting —— I didn't think so.
