I'd want him back if Boston retains 50% then we can take on his contact. I don't think Zadorov is ready to play the type of hockey Boston needs. Vancouver needs what he gives. Would be really nice to have someone stand up for our star players. Cause no one does.

I don't know if the "playoff Zadorov" would be the guy we'd get back. That's what everyone thinks we'd get. He's probably a 5-6 D-man, getting paid like a 2-3 guy. Of course the fans want the guy we saw in the playoffs and if that's who we got, I'd be all in, but as many mention, Boston would have to eat some contract for us. Honestly I think we'd get more out of a Jiricek trade as he's younger and is a R side guy.

Zadorov said he felt disrespected with what happened with the negotiations with vancouver. I have my doubts he'll waive to go back after he said that this summer

The problem is the Nucks need a rd. They can't burn the cap space they worked hard to gain for a guy who doesn't even address their top need. Unless Bos does it for Hoglander, Deharnais and retention, there's no way it makes sense right now. Id take Trouba before Zadorov.
