Hot take I don’t think Luke Hughes is that great a defenseman. And I’m not better or a pro. I’m just sayin. The other two Hughes bros are all stars.
That 7 day break they just had was HUGE. They needed those practice sessions for defensive improvement. Just a side note: New additions McDonagh and Guentzel are plus + 10 at least already while Stammer is already minus -13. Definitely the right moves so far.
New jersey has some work to do to be a contender; the defense and goaltending of markstrom is terrible….
