Kirby Dach trade? I mean I think Kent Hughes looks at Bryan Rust. Maybe now gets Letang? I'm not sure what Dach's value is at right now for Pittsburgh but love to see what could happen there
I think Friedman is just making stuff up. Must be a slow news week or something. I honestly do not think anyone is after Dach. If they were scouting him all hope got lost when he coughed up the puck in OT and caused the Habs to lose the game last week.

I’d deal him for Mcgroarty in a heartbeat. He’s done nothing in the 3 years he’s been here but get injured and show glimpses of what he could be! Too inconsistent and I think it’s time to move on from him imo
Chicago knew very well why they traded Dach to Montreal… inconsistent, no emotions & poor performances for lot of money but Montreal fans were excited and said it was a steal, as always but reality check always brings them back
Friedman as always is providing his thoughts so why would this become a newsworthy story? Hughes so far appears to have lost out on the Lekhonen trade so if he traded Kirby how bad would that look in his ability as a GM. No way Dach will be moved.
As for Kakko, he has not shown anything since joining the the league over 5 years ago so as you said Josh, we do not need another reclamation project as we have too many as it is.
Please please no more six foot nothing players … Get sandpaper at 205 to 220 pounds … Habs are soft and play small ….

I've seen lots of HUGE HABS TRADE NEWS and not a lot of huge habs trades. It's getting pretty old.
Dach is headed for a grand total of 3 or 4 goals in 82 games this year… That is atrocious for a forward..
I'm against trading Dach until Laine comes back and they have a few months in the line up (and staying healthy of course). Dach is 23 yrs. old, 6′4″ and 221 lbs. He's got size, skill, and
is strong on the puck. I still remember how good he was trending before the injury. It was a weird training camp, Laine and Reinbacher got injured, and the whole team came out flat this year for whatever reason. Even Suzuki doesn't look like the Suzuki from last year. This was always going to be a year with growing pains. Patience habs fans. Let's see where we're at after this year's contracts come off of the books and who they can bring in (with some veteran experience) to buttress this team.

OMG! Yes, PLEASE can we put an end to the disastrous Dach experiment!?!?!?! But ONLY if we get back something equivalent to Romanov in return (since that's what we gave up to get Dach in the first place). Don't see that happening, and if it doesn't, we need to hold HuGo accountable for that.

Honestly, I do not want a right shot "offense" minded D man we need someone on the right more defense minded, maybe we could trade for Jonathan Kovacevic. We need to stop thinking what do we need right now. The fastest rebuild ever was the Rangers at 5 years. We are in year 2/3. We don't need anything until Demidov, Fowler, Hage, Beck and the other players brought in as part of the rebuild are with the team. GO HABS GO!
