  1. If you’re waiting for Kreider or Trouba to start caring you’re gonna be waiting for a long fuckin time.

  2. I wouldn't say Armstrong did Bannister a favor. In that presser, first he says that Bannister made mistakes, then he says he did a good job. Hypocrit!

  3. The Rangers have now lost 3 straight games and they allowed more than 40 shots in all of them. They have got to be better in front of Igor Shesterkin. Yes he's a great goalie but it's also a team game. I'm a huge Islanders fan and this has been a miserable year so far. They were dealt a rash of major injuries to good players very early in the season and they have struggled to string wins together. They have only 5 regulation wins in 22 games (8 wins overall) and have won consecutive games just once so far this year. They need to be big time sellers at the trade deadline in March. They need to get draft picks back for their players whose contracts expire either in 2025 or 2026. Their farm system is ranked near the bottom of the league. There is not much in the pipeline at Bridgeport. Their top draft pick in 2024 Cole Eiserman likely won't be on the team until 2026 at the earliest.

  4. This is definitely an Warning for the Rangers to wake up but looking at the squad they are beside Nashville are an disappointed team in the first half

  5. Amuses me that fans think GMs are not on the phones every day to all teams asking about all their players. That is an important function of the job. Teams saying players are available doesn't all of a sudden spark other GMs to ask about them.
The Rangers know the window to win a Cup is a small one and the team is getting older. No use holding on to first round picks if you can bundle them in a trade.

  6. I know Kreider has been there for a long time, but I've never viewed him as a constant or someone consistent. The records he breaks are due more to longevity than anything. He's not a leader, shows up on occasion and to me in imminently replaceable.

  7. Not a Rangers guy, but… let's be real, when you're sending a message to half your team that they're expendable, what you're actually doing is sending a message to the guy behind the bench. He knows all too well, you can't fire half the team. And these are NHL players, some of the hardest working people there are – they don't need a cute message to "get them going," and if they do, it should be coming from the coach. It's not for me to say if he's on the hot seat, but that's how it reads over here.

  8. The nhl seems to be filled with a lot of players and few real teams. For some reasons the last few years a lot of players have decided to March their own tune and not that of the team.

  9. Don sweeney made some bad decisions and now he is trying to solve it by blaming others. Good luck with that.

  10. Army still did banister dirty with that comment that Gumby was his guy. Oh well. The only life better than being an NHL coach is being a fired nhl coach

  11. K-Poke Miller is an absolute disgrace as a player. Trade him for a puck bag,but get him out of here

  12. Biggest thing is Rangers captain has not lead by example, one big hit all season, and he has failed like miller and fox have not played any good defense all season, we may have won games but seriously, and when your biggest guys aren't on a line together, and no identity this is all gm and owner are clueless as for getting this team act together, we can bitch about the players but they only play not running the show, and getting rid of certain players isn't a good idea, like Krieder, and Jacob, they have been here a long time, miller, vessy should be traded for daft picks, and bring Tim G back off waivers and center him with Rempe and Adam E, and throw Haper on d with those guys, now we could establish a identity, but until that happens there will never be a cup for the New York Rangers.

  13. When the players are letting the media know that they dont practice offense while being 30th in offense, its time to go. He is a developmental coach for teenagers, not an NHL coach. The guy never cracked a single smile in almost a year. No professional wants to play for someone that serious. Nevermind the fact that they were extremely passive in every aspect of the game under him.
