Adrian Kempe found the back of the net twice against the Detroit Red Wings, as his Los Angeles Kings eventually walked away with the 4-1 win. Red Wing goaltender, Cam Talbot earned the loss but stopped 37 out of 40 shots faced on the night.

Wow the wings truly look sad. I didn’t rate LA much this year as they have injected a decent amount of youth into the line up that could take a year to mesh. Good win from the kings.

I began watching the Wings back in '73. I tuned out near the end of Kenny Holland's era. Before last season, I thought of watching the Wings and Pistons. This year the Wings have turned me into a Pistons fan. Why bother watching the Wings?
Yzerman is a fraud, he didn’t build Tampa with Stamkos and Hedman already there, just got lucky and hit on a few other pieces. He’s built a trash roster and no one is saying anything
Red wings fan thinking they should be cup contenders because they almost qualified for the playoffs last season is hilarious.
People don't seem to realize that what Yzerman is doing is giving all the young guns time to develop and bringing on veterans that help the younglings learn and become better.
He probably doesn't expect the team to be competitive for another 2-3 years, about when the current veterans' contracts end. That's why there's still close to 4 million of open cap space.

It's too early but the Kings are NOT beating the better teams & beating the weaker teams, they have not been consistent enough & this style in the second half will be a total LOSER, I'm just a bit worried in that I've seen this b 4 in 80's 90's early 2000's I call it the beach house mindset. GKG!
