  1. I think the core problem with Toronto is that they have really struggled with drafting and developing defenseman.

The last Leafs defenseman that they drafted and developed outside the first round to play at least 50 games for them was Dermott (2015 draft). Before that it was Gunnarsson (2007).

Since the 2016 draft the most number of games an outside the first round pick d-man has played for Toronto was 6 games (Hollowell – two seasons ago).

  2. Sandin, lily, Reilly to many small guys shame. Waist why the heck did you draft them Shanny disaster

  3. He is young and can skate so there is potential. However there is no shot from the point, no zone entry , no boards presence, no physicality, gets bullied easily doesn't clear the front of the net. I remember commenting on one of your videos that Timmins wasn't a top pairing guy but he offered much more than Lijli. Looks like Berube agrees.

  4. Steve, you need to do a show on Conor Timmins, show us why you are so lukewarm. He played 17:30 against Seattle. Tanev played only a couple of minutes more and Benoit 4 minutes less. Looks to me like Berube is beginning to trust him. What's your issue?

  5. Someone please tell the Sharks commentators that it is pronounced LIL-uh-grin and not LIL-juh-grin! The whole damn game long they stumbling and stammering and chewing on marbles whenever they tried to pronounce it. God!
