Great Video, as usual, Shannon – I still have no idea why they'd want to move on from Ullmark & Swayman Tandem. I know that you root for them, but, I think that all of the trades with My Chicago Blackhawks didn't help, at least, in losing all of the depth. Let me know what you think, especially where the Players (Mitchell & others), are at that went over from Chicago
I've been joking with my friend in Florida, since we were both on opposite sides since were kids, playing Roller Hockey, with him as Terry O'Reilly & I, with The Chicago Black Hawks Goalie Tony O Esposito gear, about the repeat of The 2013 Stanley Cup, but for bottom. LOL. PS. My Condolences on 2013, but, after the 2 goals in 17 seconds, I was texting him, Chicago!!! repeatedly.
Well hold on Shannon. You spoke about the periods in terms of short and long change. But that's only accurate at home is it not? I thought that was part of how home ice worked. The home team gets short change in the 1st and 3rd. So unless boston has played every game at home (or at least I'd say 7-8/11) that isn't a really accurate way to describe the goals by period. To me that simply says they can't start well at all, and they have no extra gear they can click into for the third period when often the game can get a bit crazy with teams pushing to either win or comeback. They only seem to be able to hold their own in what is often the calmest period, the middle.

If they hit on just one their THREE picks from potentially THE BEST DRAFT CLASSES ever they most likely would have one another cup. Love that draft 🤣
It's still early. I feel like Boston will figure it out and make the playoffs this year. They always seem to. I hate Boston because they have been playoff perennials for 20 years. Most teams cup window closes, and Boston always seems to have it wide open. They seem to know how to develop all their draft picks, and/or make great trades to give them more depth going into the playoffs
I called it when they signed lindholm and zadorov to way too much money and traded ullmark before signing swayman. Front office is lost. I love you cam but it's not looking good. Let's go bruins!

Nope it's early they'll be in the playoffs by the end of the season (not a boston fan but respect )

They don't have the gel yet, this team was torn down then placed together, the Swayman situation was a distraction, and out of the norm for the Bruins/ he's not better than Rask or Thomas yet, JK will be the next Ulmark when his confidence cmes bacck fully, he's about 65%….,. The puck bounces are off or sure, and Marchand is not as strong as he should will adapt and his game will be back…. Sooon, the dam is going to break.
Yes the downfall is here. I think they should be in playoffs again but its prolly 1st round exit. I dont know how they turn this around. They have some great players like Pasta, McAvoy. Swayman is good goalie but I dont think hes able to carry the team. This is going to be big problem that they are too good to be cellar team who gets good draft picks and they are not good enough to play for cup.

Bruins have had a culture of dirty play going on at least a decade now. Bruins fans should celebrate the tkachuk brothers for taking that throne from them.
The line changes Monty makes on a per game basis i believe are sewering this offense.

I predicted before the season they wouldn’t make the playoffs this year.
They will squeak into the playoffs just to crush the leafs in the first round.

Having Marchand as captain was a bad move. Zero captain tendencies in him. There’s too much pest.
Swayman thought he was at igors level
I think you might be ignoring the cause of their struggles. Their pk has been atrocious, the d zone coverage has been inconsistent, and the top end forwards have not pulled their weight. They are far too talented all around and too well coached not to turn this around and make the playoffs for a ninth season in a row.
I’m not saying it’s exclusively a lack of effort, but it certainly looks that way. The years prior all seemed like the team was more motivated, or maybe just quicker with the puck. This year they look slow, and the offense (with the exception of the Montreal game) has been TERRIBLE
To many Hockey East no grind and zero heart guys over the years, now to many soft Europeans, McAvoy is overrated, Carlo soft as baby poop, Marchy is cooked. Bring up Harrison and Merkolov ( sp ) trade Lysell for a broken stick. Good grief I live for the Bruins and the is ugly. Oh yeah fire Monty and give the team to Sacco.
i hope they'll find their game but a coaching change (albeit likely not the issue) feels imminent. wildcard or third in their division if they manage to find the front of the net but alas the season is young and if they go on a heater id be the last person to complain
