I've seen goalies whiff on a dump in etc but I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like that. The Martin Brodeur "off his stick, into the net" is the only one I can think of that comes close. This will be replayed in highlight packages forever.
This is the nhl equivalent of the ball bouncing off Jose Canseco's head into the stands for a homerun
