  1. The assessment of Heinola isn't entirely fair IMO. He basically made the team (Bowness confirmed that) coming out of training camp last year but broke his ankle in the final pre-season game which wiped out most of his season – he spent that latter half of the year in the AHL getting his legs and game back and finished the season strong. Then early in TC this year he was diagnosed with a serious infection in the surgically repaired ankle which required yet another surgery – he's been on the shelf since. The take on his physical tools and skills is fair but he made significant strides through his D+1>+3 seasons and was on track to be an NHLer at 22. Not terrible for a D selected in the bottom third of the first round.

  2. Good on you guys to look backwards and find out where your thinking went wrong and what you can learn from it

  3. Hey man as an oilers fan I’ve loved podkolzin, the way our teams set up he really only has to use his size to win battles and he does that very well

Had to come back here after his first in orange and blue LETS GO OILERS 🧡🤍💙
