Wonder where Frederick’s mental state is. He’s in a contract year coming off a career high of 40 pts, but is on pace to only score 21 if he plays all 82 games. He’s the type I worry will age quickly. He’s going to turn 27 this February and can easily find himself missing out on his big payday at the end of this season and by the time he wakes up, he may be turning 30.
He’s supposed to be an enforcer type and at 6’ 3” and 220 he’s quite bigger than FLA’s Sam Bennett at 6’ 1” and 195, yet Bennett was the enforcer in the playoffs taking out Marchand and Knies (the year before) with his goon play.
