  1. Been saying for 2 years Mika, Trouba and Kreider needed to go. They dont play physically(trouba does but so many other problems).

  2. The team plays with a lack of Hustle and Spirit and what has led to this we will never know but it's like the team is pulling a Mutiny for some sort of reason. We know they're not tired you can see that it's more like a i don't care for now act. I love my team i don't like what's happening.

  3. Great Video, as usual, Hawkey. As A Rangers Fan, I think that the problem that they have, is that GM Chris Drury is in GM Hell. Since he took over, all the John Davidson & Jeff Gorton moves have handcuffed him & Pavel Buchnievich Trade was the first result of that, by the former regime acquiring & its signing of Jacob Trouba, as is said in your video. Moreover, I think that so many of these players don't really step up til after New Year's Day, not to mention the fact their Goalies (Igor Shesterkin & Jonathan Quick) aren't even able to save every game (6 given up by the tandem in each of last games – even though a couple or so were Empty Net Goals). Let me know what you think

  4. I don't think that trading Chris Kreider is the answer. I think if they trade their Captain, Jacob Trouba, it'll send A Shock to all of the other players. Let me know what you think

  5. Rangers fans are the most toxic fans in NHL, last year they been spreading their toxicity on all platforms because they did well.

All these problems are a karma.

  6. I knew Trouba was ass and had a shit attitude when he played for Winnipeg. Great skill but you don’t get rid of your best defensemen lightly. His bad attitude makes him a shit player and a cancer in the dressing room. Keep him we don’t want him!

  7. No one in this comment section can tell me what they just watched dosnt make any sense it’s like Greta making a video about hockey

  8. What a ridiculous video. Look at all the parity in the east this year. You're making mountains out of 12-7 molehills. Don't quit your day job.

  9. The Defence all starts with FOWARDS WHO DONT BACK CHECK. Stop blaming Defenseman who are constantly defending 3 on 2
4 on 2 Rushes. The fowards are Goal Hanging at center ice, hence all the Short handed goals. If your going blame , look at the #'s Trouba puts up, taking every Defensive zone faceoffs while Fox never does
    METRICS speak for themselves….
Now let's take a deep dive as to when this shit show started.Oct 29 Mika cries openly about ice time, 8-3 at the time. Lavy accommodates the cries, scrambled the lines and it's been downhill from there 4-5 since then. Instead having the Balls to SCRATCH Mika for abysmal play, 6 turnovers in 3 games leading directly to 5 goals against……
Rember the Turnover on a Bad pass to Wheeler that changed the Fla series ????????
    I DO !!!!!!

  10. The problem with Kreider is that he does bring much grit. For a big guy, he just does not go into the corners much. I think Miller is also on the way out too – again it’s about grit. Watch Lindgrin too.

  11. If the Rangers give Igor the money he wants they need their heads examined. Let him walk. They need to invest in D and number one C. Stop using goalies as a crutch. Build a decent team first, THEN sign a great goalie and pay him whatever is left.

  12. Mika is -13. Kappo is +13. Kappo / Cuylie / Chytil defend they way they are supposed to have been the most consistently productive line 5-5. This lazy trope about underperforming rookies takes the focus off of the abysmal performance of the top 6.

  13. if igor were to sign with a different team in the off-season, which teams would be a possibility?

  14. While lots of my fellow Avs fans consider this heresy, the trade I'd like to see harkens back to the earliest days of the Avs in Colorado. It's a hockey trade that would send shockwaves through the league. Igor Shesterkin straight up for Mikko Rantanen (with about $3.5 million retained by Colorado to make it work for both on the cap). Both are on expiring deals (Igor at 5.8, Mikko at 9.25), and they both want about the same $12 to $14 million to re-sign. Avs have a serious G problem (last time a team had a 0.855 save percentage, they went 10-70-4), and the Rangers seem to need an upgrade in forward skill and consistency. Could be a win-win hockey trade. The history lesson is that in the Avs 1st season in Colorado they traded for the best goalie of the time (perhaps ever) in Saint Patrick of Roy and at the hight of his powers he was paid by the Avs an amount, adjusted for inflation, of nearly $14m/yr. That trade brought balance to the team.

  15. Nothing has changed from last season's' roster to this years. I don't know what Rags fans were honestly expecting. Keeping Trouba after that playoff performance is hysterical. There is no grit on this team and everyone in the league knows it. You cannot win on skill alone.

  16. Jacob Trouba is a major problem since he was named the captain. He has to be traded, however his physician wife will not move back to Canada. The Islanders and the Devils love to obtain him.

  17. Peter Laviolette will be fired if he doesn’t take his team to the Cup Final. Coach Q is what this team needs.

  18. Ranger fan since 1988 here….. my concern is that even when this team's core is firing on all cylinders, they cannot win the Cup.

They proved this a lot, particularly in 22 and 24. Panarin and Zibanejad (slump notwithstanding) are exciting players, but they are not late May/June players. They just aren't.

We had no answer for Barkov, and no answer for Point, Kucherov, and Stamkos in 22.

Trouba skates like his feet are in cement, though I love his physicality.

Miller isn't physical, and he isnt offensive. He reminds me of Vladimir Malahkov. All size. No heart.

Cuylle is exactly the kind of player they need more of.

As far as Igor, we've seen this movie before. Throwing the money at him and handcuffing ourselves will create Lundqvist part II.

You cannot make a goalie try to drag your franchise to a Cup. It does not work.

The Panthers won the Cup because they had big, mean, hard nosed players as their stars and not ballerinas.

The Rangers need to think about that. Because NHL hockey is two completely different sports regular season against playoffs.

The Rangers are built for the regular season. And that is how I see it.

  19. As someone who doesn't follow the rags closely, I think finding a way to get Zibanejad out for another slumping player who could pick it up with a new team would do wonders. Miller is fine when he isn't with Trouba. Laf, Chytil, and the other kids are bringing it. Hope y'all go deep this season 🤙

  20. What’s the point of putting text in your thumbnail when u cover it with a human head ? Genius 🎉😂

  21. What can be wrong with the Rangers? Can it be
    1. Mika has been in a season and 1/2 slump that has taken any line mates he plays with down with him. Kreider is down as well but that is because Mika is not performing as he did when that line was cooking. Also, how many different wingers are they going to try and plug in there before they realize what the problem on that line is?
    2. The top 6 defense is actually top three most nights. The youngest guys on D are showing up every game (and sometimes make mistakes) while a few of the veterans just don't seem interested at different times and that causes mistakes that has nothing to do with inexperience.
    3. I watch a lot of games and there is a major difference in the pace of play. I don't have to run a list of the teams that excel in speed to the puck and speed up ice. You know who they are. The Rangers don't enter the top five in this category. One of the reasons they are giving up so many shots on goal is teams are flying by them in both directions.
    4. All of the above.

  22. trading kreider would be a huge mistake. he’s by far our most consistent playoff performer and he is the heart and soul of this team. i would be devastated to see him go.

  23. No player on that New York Rangers roster should be safe. Not a single one. This roster needs to be dismantled and a rebuild is necessary.

  24. Info on the young guys is no longer true… It is in fact the exact opposite now – the "Core" has been terrible while Chytil, Kakko and Cuylle have been the rangers best forwards and have created one of the top lines in the league. Producing legit offense and playing TWENTY games before letting up ONE goal against! That is insane. Laffy has finally arrived and was the best NYR skater vs the Panthers in the ECF's last year (all his numbers are done 5v5 as the 2nd PP unit gets like 15 seconds of time at the end of PP's – he's also dealing with a slumping center in Trochek who should turn it around soon). They also have Berard (small fast forward who plays like he is 7 ft tall) who just played his first game and scored (top 9 projection), Othmann with a top 9 projection and Gabe Perrault who has been tearing up the NCAA as a true freshman and now sophomore projected as a sure fire top line wing. Throw in Zac Jones who has been playing better then Fox so far this year once finally given the chance. Finally, Adam Edstrom is a 4th liner who can move up in the line up who is enormous and skates like he is a small skilled forward but powerful.

  25. This is all on Drury, he fired Gallant as a scapegoat instead of dealing with the real issues with the underachieving soft core of this team. Very easy and lazy to fire one guy and call it a success… Drury should be OUT !

  26. This isnt a playoff team. No hunger and no passion to win. Drury was too complacent and not holding them accountable to results. You cant blame the coach this time.

  27. I’m sorry but anyone who thinks this team can still make it and doesn’t need an overhaul is respectfully very wrong. This team just does not have it. They didn’t last year either but on the back of Igor and some lucky streaks
