This Thanksgiving Eve, the Pittsburgh Penguins faced off against the Vancouver Canucks. Blake Lizotte started the night with his first goal back from injured reserve. The Canucks answered the call when Aatu Raty scored with less than 9 minutes left in the period. In the middle of the opening frame, Rickard Rakell and Kevin Hayes (PPG) lit the lamp to give the Penguins the 3-1 lead. Another goal from Bryan Rust followed to give the Penguins a 4-1 lead headed into the 2nd frame. With his second goal of the night, Bryan Rust put the Canucks in a 5-1 deficit. Pius Suter scored on a slap-shot to end the period at 5-2. In the last 20 minutes, Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson scored, bringing the final score to 5-4 Penguins.

It is so hard to get excited about this team they could be up 9 to 0 and you blink an eye then lose 10 to 9
I'm still watching, no matter how long the bad streak lasts.
Would ya look at that, they didn't blow a 2 goal lead for once. Almost though.
😑
What a game pens u can somehow beat the Canucks but not the blue jackets classic pens but good game
Sigh… a win is a win but up by 4 in the 3rd and win by 1… not good.
Edit: I as a pens fan we follow, love, praise and complain. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
I was listning to the audio broadcast at work. Left during the first period at 2-1. Got home from my five minute drive and missed two goals. Good to see a win regardless.
Started gettin' that feeling when it went to 5-3, so glad to see it ended in a win.
No one gives up a lead like the Pens! Poor Sid's back must be getting tired in carrying his team all the time.
The first time in forever my team wins
blew another lead. The clock was their friend here
Jarry is the next to go!
almost blew another lead sheesh
When will the Pens make a radical change. Y'all wasting Crosby's last years.
As a pens fan I’m shocked Pittsburgh didn’t blow this game. Came close to blowing it
Glad we traded for defense help… oh no, we didn’t did we.
We just need to play every team on the 2nd game of back to backs and we will make the playoffs.
Cue everyone blaming Jarrynas though a new goalie will fix everything. Haha
Looking at the team's plus / minus for this game, i know who i would be looking to trade.
Go penguins please keep winning boys and stop almost blowing like four goal leads please
EK65 was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Has there ever been a better outlet passer on the back line in team history? He should be the undisputed QB of the offense. It's a shame that Sullivan and staff haven't put him in a position to succeed.
с 5-1 чуть не упустили игру😐
