  1. Stone is hoping he doesn’t see him again. Lol He didn’t see him the first time lol! Clean hit! The guy is playing to get a job!

  2. While it's true that the puck was nowhere near him, the truth is that players need to hearken back to Larry Robinson's hit on Gary Dornhoefer in Montreal, which required a maintenance guy to come out and hammer the board back in place (neither player wore a helmet). Dornhoefer got up from that and was ready for more hockey action…
Many players in today's NHL are wussies who can't take a hit (though this one was borderline boarding)…

  3. As a joke the next time these two teams play they gotta call that guy back up. Stone still feeling the effects of big buff

  4. Perfectly well delivered hit. No penalty on the play. You play pro hockey in the NHL it doesn't matter if it's a pre-season game or not, you still will get hit. As a matter of facts, the rudest Games I played in hockey where almost always pre-seasons Games as rookies are trying to impress the coaches and prove they deserv a place in the team.

  5. No problem with stone getting in his face after but he was a big baby. Never punch down, it’s not a good look.

  6. Hahahahah. That was pure gold. Too bad Stone is such a baby. Probably had to change his diaper after that hit.

  7. LMAO…Stone gets rocked with a clean hit and he calls Hodgson a bad player! Because you wear the C doesn't mean you're untouchable! Admit he embarrassed you and move on.

  8. Great hit. Legal hit. He was reaching for the puck that was right next to his stick blade. Announcers are homers.

  9. Announcer is a gaslighting sb. The puck is gone. Yeah but he had it .05 seconds before brain+ice equals no way. Not cool on captain but dude trying to earn a check. Stone made a slow soft play. Like Vegas but js

  10. Commentator: “Don’t forget, the puck was gone”

Me: Watches Stone play the puck less than a second before the hit…😬
