  1. That's no double minor. That's a major

Major penalty and game misconduct: A player is assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for recklessly endangering an opponent with a cross-check.

  2. Shocking it's only 4 minutes and not 5 and a game like it would be if it was against the makemelaughs. No suspension incoming either…the league is a joke.

  3. Florida pussy should get 2 min for diving, both had sticks up in the air about time nylander got physical lol 🙂 🙂

  4. Look at the replay. Schmidt had no eyes for puck or play at all. He just wanted to get in the way of Willy. Willy is to be held accountable for the end result, but boy or boy, any hockey player knows what it's like when an opponent just wants to get in your way despite the game. Schmidt earned this hit to the face

  5. No wonder Nylander is scoring so much. Knock the guy out and your wide open for a pass. How that's not a match penalty, I don't know. It's the same to me as the Meier penalty.

  6. Schmidt cross checks nylander at the same time and gets his arms. Causing the sitck to go into his face instead of chest…

  7. Toronto wil not win the Cup this year guaranteed.
Fire Shanahan , the guy has ruined the team.

  8. What the hell was William thinking ? It is not like him to be doing anything so stupid as that. He should have been given a game Misconduct and suspension. Leaf Fan,Wayne

  9. Despite the stick riding up and being unintentional, the crest on William’s sweater will likely bring disproportionate discipline as per usual.

  10. Not a violent person or judgmental in anyway but Willie has a face on a mother wouldn’t want to punch

  11. At a guess… he saw the other guy's stick coming up and put his up as well. Avoidable for sure and a bad decision. Surprised it wasn't a major. It doesn't look like he actually thrust forward and pushed through the other guy, but I could see him getting a game.

  12. Man, the number of excuses from Toronto fans.
I guess thats the attitude when you have guys like Steve Dangle and others telling Leaf fans that they are victims and treated differently by the league.
Looking forward to spring and the annual 1st round exit from the Toronto Victims
