  1. 41:00 Hammer is playing for a new contact. Not here hopefully, but some other team should be willing to pick him up for a couple of years as a veteran depth piece. Giroux can stick around if he doesn't want more than what he is actually making. Grieg needs a new contract as well. I can see him getting the money that Forsberg is making. After that, there is no money available for outside help next year unless a trade happens. The organization can tinker with the bottom 6 but nothing groundbreaking will happen.
This team needs to be a playoff team this year. They are out of excuses. If they aren't by the deadline, it's time to blow up the core and figure something else out.
