Andrei Vasilevskiy makes unreal skate stop for save of the year candidate!

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy sprawls out to get a piece of Patrick Marleau’s shot in front, then somehow extends his right leg back to drag the puck off the goal line with skate, putting his bid in for the save of the year!

  1. Every game I see the Lighting play their goaltending wins the game for them, as a team they don't look that good.

  2. Jesus I’m not even a Tampa fan, but Vasileveskiy time after time is showing some pretty amazing goaltending skills. Nice save, I would see that that as a save of the year. 👍

  3. I'm a die hard Habs fan and I never thought I'd see anything greater than Price's save on Ovi… This one's giving me second thoughts… Looks like I may have underestimated him

  4. I dont get it. He didn't even scorpion kick it. He whiffed and his foot kicked it by chance once it landed.

Great effort but it wasn't what I thought it was going to be.

Am I being to critical? I dont see all the hype on that one
