If you're serious about leaving with a goal and shifting the momentum…these O zone faceoffs with no time on the clock to come back and a center who's strong on the draw are fine opportunities for something like this. Well played.

Good call because there was zero chance that the Wild could win the faceoff and get the puck down the ice and in the net in 2.9 seconds.
Pulling the goalie wasn't the real difference, unless you factor in the intimidation factor.
I don't know if I'm looking at a goal-line stand or a soccer set piece but, man, the Wild were certainly on one.

This is 1 of the many reasons y I think hockey is the best sport!? It's pretty much nonstop excitement and wild crazy and amazing things happen almost every game and anything can happen at anytime in a hockey game!? Especially now where even 3 and sometimes 4 goal leads aren't always safe!!??
