Jets fan here to see Edmonton fans cry
Canucks fan here. I'm not happy that the Canucks have lost OT games twice, but jeez…Oilers get killed 6-0 to Winnipeg and now 5-2 to Chicago? Before the season started, I kept saying:
1. Need a good backup to Skinner. Skinner is not a top tier goalie.
2. Team is too old and too slow. Mcleod, Holloway, Broberg and Foegle gone…and in come the old guys….Skinner, Arvidson, Perry, Henrique…say what?
3. Defense is way too weak…like too many 6/7 defensemen playing 4/5 roles??
The fact Edmonton probably losing to the flames tomorrow too. Can't wait for 0 wins 10 losses
To be honest, this game was starting to look good. We had some great plays and you can see them thinking creatively.
Skinner showed me he has a brain and will be capable of finesse.
No they're no where near peak form, but it's clear to see how these pieces are beginning to form
The Oilers had there chances but ran into something they are not familiar with, an actual NHL goaltender.
Long post follows with base game statistics including some for the Chicago Blackhawks. Read, don't read, up to you. These are BASE stats not detailed ones. My comments and observations at the end.

Again the PP Sucks (we got 1 of 3), the PK is non-existent (they got 3 of 3), I couldn't watch the game (medical stuff), and NO ONE BLOCKS SHOTS ON THE OILERS (or if they do very little). Chicago blocked 35 shots to the Oilers 12. PITIFUL and truly disappointing. Connor and Leon both getting penalties doesn't help. Look, I support the Oilers. I hope they have a wonderful season going forward and so on BUT they make it hard sometimes. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating (or whatever holiday you are celebrating if you're celebrating).
Overrated team and overachieved last season.
Calling ANY other player flat, or vanilla in their commercials is wild……. McDavid never shows any personality lol. Most flat and vanilla guy in the league.
