Good for Nick Roberson now he can show with the new coach that he can bring it for the leafs on the second line and show he can stay in the NHL and have a good year and then succeed for a better for a contract next year because remember he had speed and skill to score goals and now he ready for traning whick great to hear to bring his game higher and work up on upper body for mucles he needs to win battes for the puck so he can better then Bertuzzi at a way cheaper cost this year at a freindly one year cheap contract.Go Leafs Go.

My speculation is he’ll be injured before US Thanksgiving and it leaves more chaos than if he’s gone.
I don’t think Robertson fills the Bertuzzi void. Defense is still not tough enough and new goalie is not proven. 2 new D is not making Toronto a playoff team!!!
Let’s go Nick, let’s see some progress, let’s see the offseason superstar energy on the ice! I want to see best case scenario, he’s not a bad player and we could be dropping marner next year and get Cowan in the line up! Knies and Robertson will be a great show!
He hasn't proven he can be the guy to fill in for the loss of Bertuzzi, I hope he plays well and they trade him at the deadline

Despite new contract, belief is Nick Robertson is still more likely to be traded than open the season with the #Leafs.
There is still solid interest in Robertson. And it's always easier to trade an asset under contract as opposed to an RFA, which helped him sign.that from Frank Seravalli
