As a die hard Sens fan who was cheering for MTL in the finals against TBL, I can't understand how that was a major penalty? Grieg plays on the line so I get that but it wasn't too late of a hit and contact didn't seem dirty to me. Yeah I don't like the hit in that it's preseason
He got hit by an average sized player who laid an average hit on him, and it was like a car accident. Head whiplashed way back, and he's slamming to the ice. He never sees it coming, and he's never braced for the hit. These young players were brought up too comfortable to not take hits. I mean, he is a big guy, but he has zero ability to take a hit.
I don't think it's a dirty hit necessarily. It is a little late, so it's interference. But I think that it needs to be considered that this is a preseason game. It should have beed a harsher penalty so players cool down a bit…
Funny how the TSN announcers NEVER point out how dirty these hits are on Habs players. It is absolutely open season on Habs players. No wonder Habs keep breaking the record for most man-games lost.

I can’t stand Greig but this was a clean hit
you can see on the slomo replay that their heads collide during the hit. incidental contact. unfortunate. oh well.
Shocker, refs don't do their job again
Late hit
What a puss
Lmao what, that was so fucking weak. Montreal is full of glass pussies

Habs are soft as butter. 😂
Im a Habs fan…that is not a dirty play…hardly late…this is just finishing your check in the NHL!
Soft players these days. Just a little shoulder check.
Why did he flop so hard? After several re watches Dach 100% flings his head back when going down. What a joke.
Its called hockey. Lol. Is every hit an issue now?
Get off the ice and stop rolling around like a soccer player Dach, no need to answer for a clean hit
Dach is made from towel…
Wtf is that lol
What a late hit
Looks like he sold it

Games gone way too soft.
FFS, the NHL should just go no contact at this point. Guess it could be 2 for interference (Greig) and 2 for being a soccer player (Dach).

For a big guy , he sure can’t take a hit .
Wait. This was the "dirty" hit Habs fans were using to excuse Xhekaj… Aint no way
I bet Greig's left hand popped him, like Bennett on Marchand, but maybe not on purpose this time.
dach is a band aid 😿
