I'm not a fan of either team, but the refs called it right. I don't understand why legal, good hits piss off so-called professional hockey players. Players like Denis Potvin and Scott Stevens made their living with hard, open ice legal body checks and hip checks. Hockey has become all screwed up. Thank you, Gary Bettman.
This is preseason you dont hit players that hard especially the captain the way Davies hit Hedman in the first period, and expect to just get away with it. Props too Conor for sticking up for his captain 💪
