Connor McDavid said something that every Oilers fan can relate to, and it comes from the fiery clip of him letting his emotions go in the Amazon Prime documentary. Link to trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5ukDHU85iA
Will we see him the same way ever again?!

Exactly i 100 percent agree
I guarantee EVERY leader on every team holds them to account. McDavid is just doing exactly that.
He's such a puck hog that you can see him calling for it to be passed to him when he's on the bench he's a whiny goof nothing more
Seeing so many comments of people saying Gretzky, Messier, Lemieux, Yzerman, Crosby would never or have never done that. How would anyone know unless they played with those players, specifically in the playoffs. As an Oilers fan I’m glad that was going on in the room. Any one of those stars would if they were getting smoked in the finals or in any round of the playoffs.
If You think 97 doesn’t know Exactly how Gretz or Sid or Any Other Great Leader that he Admires Acted When They Needed A Huge Push then you are Extremely Naive and Don’t Get High Testosterone Sports !!!! He Leaves Zero To Chance , Thoroughlyyyyyyy Prepared !!! Nobody is Better Or Has More DRIVE, Ambition or Competitiveness !!!
Mess never yelled? Moose almost knocked a teammate out for stepping on the crest on the floor…
Maybe he should tip the players to play harder…. Get paid big..YOU HAVE TO PERFORM. Not the little guys!
People who criticize Mcdavid have never played any sport. Showing emotion and getting pissed is part of being a leader. Gretzky, Messier, Sid, they all have different personalities and ways to be a leader on their teammates.
Those are just haters saying that. If he didn’t speak up McDavid would not be a leader the team rallied behind him that clip was after game 1 of the Stanley cup finals. They erased a 3-0 deficit and almost won the cup. I like this it shows he has grown he use to be silent but fired up McDavid is what this team needs when the best player in hockey speaks up you listen.
100% AGREED! You need that level of passion to win and HATRED to lose to be the best. Anyone who thinks he was over reacting or whining as you said has never played on a competitive team. This is exactly what the NHL needs to bring more attention the GREATEST game on the planet! LETS GO OILERS!!!
Don't get me wrong but Crosby has shown "immature" sides of himself before. Last I recall he had 110 pim in his first season, yes I know first season whatever but there was also a large span in his career where fans used to also call him a crybaby. Even during the spittin chiclets podcast they talked about Crosby's competitive nature when he pulled mackinnons legs when they raced each other up a hill. There's even compilations of him mad.
Hope he never wins a cup
Hell Yeah! Let's Go Baby
