Guys on the other teams side of the red line should be warned by the ref’s and if they don’t heed the warning they should be given game misconducts at puck drop.
I blame coaches and refs. If the coach was out on the bench at the time, then he is to blame. The kid in dark jersey deserved a slash, a spear, a punch… coaches and refs have to be on this crap.

This was PREGAME and BOTH players got suspended for two games and NO, Travis Howe did not get released after this incident. He actually signed a two-year deal to play int he AHL with San Diego. Nic the Tool Blackman is still bouncing around the ECHL, averaging three minutes a game and getting his ass handed to him on a regular basis.
