Being body-ready, body-tested, when the season begins in any violent professional sport, is key to preventing an endless list of potential and serious injuries on your team. Especially in hockey, where the amount of energy and body blows that occur for the entire season and playoffs, is no joke.
It doesn't stop because Toronto is and has always been the center of Hockey news, if it were let's say in Columbus, this would be getting zero attention.
