Definetly not jets fan here. But, i gotta say that was very bad sportmanship from gio there. Laine was checking if he is okay. Gio is like ”all good man. Then when laine turns his head, gio cross checks him in the arm. What a absolute snake.
Good to see they still aren't calling interference, slashing, or crosschecking.
Why would Laine apologize? It's playoffs! Rules are thrown out the window for playoffs! You just look soft if you apologize for hitting your opponent.

5 Months go by and jets fans forget that body contact is apart of the sport. The elbow on Giordano was the most viscous thing in this game. Two Jets players injure themselves and fans come out to pile on the excuses. Scheif turtled instead of taking the hit and Laine hipchecked his own wrist. Give it up Jets fans.

Sam Bennett is the one who hurt his wrist.. Gio hit him on the upper arm. Laine wasn’t apologizing for the elbow to the head he was scared of being hit again on his injured wrist from Bennett.
